Plinths are usually fabricated in 12mm (1/2 inch) MDF, which takes paint well and provides a stable and fault-free base for finishing. We mitre our plinths so that you don’t see the furry board edges. We also undertake plinths in plywood and other wood finishes and can make cylindrical plinths to order. Work can be finished in formica and other plastics.

Production is regularly undertaken from our base in Hackney, East London. We keep a well-appointed wood workshop and we can turn around jobs fast to meet the demands of East and West End galleries.

We can make sculpture plinths to any specification. Painted finishes include spraying or hand painting. In the shop site we now have a range of options and prices for various finishes and colours.

Founders Tim Robinson and Roddy Thomson have years of experience working in the arts. They work closely with clients to help them realise their ideas and are more than happy to talk to recent graduates and emerging artists.
