Pristine and beautiful O.S.B. plinths and pedestals by Artplinths.

Artplinths are handmade by craftsmen to museum standards. Made in-house in our east London workshops, these hard wearing pedestals are fully mitred, seamless and fine finished.

Three types of finish: 

1. Natural wood finish 

After carefully filling and sanding we leave the woodwork in its natural state. This is becoming increasingly popular low-cost solution. Plinths are supplied ready for you to apply your own specialist finishes. or leave as is

2. Low-sheen varnish (Select from Drop down menu)

After much research we’ve sourced a subtle yet hard wearing finish that really flatters the crown- cut veneers we use, and adds a depth and beauty to the patina usually associated with a waxed or Danish-oiled surface. This finish provides long-lasting protection and is resistant to moisture and most household chemicals. 

3. Painted finishes.

The highly textured O.S.B. takes well to painting. the results are really interesting. 

Please note: wood products  can vary in colour, grain and patina. Unfinished plinths will, as a rule  be lighter and paler in colour, consistent with the natural product.
